December Update
Thank you for the warm welcome this past month. I am fired up about our potential together! With time counting down to our official Off-Season there are several information points that I wish to share with you. Further, I require your attention and immediate feedback to focus our energies. Here is my update for December.
November
I was pleased to meet with most of the coaches, in town players, staff and board of directors at our City-Wide practices, BMO indoor OTA’s and board meeting. The enthusiasm and commitment shown by all has me excited for our prospects, both short and long term. I am looking to build and strengthen our team and club at all levels. Make no mistake about it; The Beefs are committed to winning NOW!
Return to Practice
At current we have finished conducting OTA’s at BMO Centre. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there have been 25 players and coaches in attendance. I feel confident we were able to install a number of Offensive play concepts that will help us in the 2021 competitive season! The TENTATIVE plan is to return to BMO in late February TBD based on provincial and federal Covid-19 modelling stage. We would then launch a weekly practice initiative leading up to a Mini Camp in May. Given the importance of ATTACKING a 2021 Championship, these sessions will be considered mandatory for all local players who are serious about their 2021 playing time. Attendance will be taken. Any players with schedule conflicts must contact me directly to discuss their absence(s) and to make an action plan to make up for lost skill and conditioning time.

Strength and Conditioning
I am excited for the December 1st launch of the Off-Season Strength and Conditioning program by Coach Deon Rocha! We are extremely fortunate to have him on our TEAM! Please take full advantage of the opportunity to get bigger, stronger, faster! Remember; Football does not love you; It loves the PROCESS! Look for Coach Rocha’s launch on our Facebook Group soon!

We are looking for Beefeater players who not only have talent, but who have great character, are selfless and dedicated to committing themselves to the TEAM. These will be the criteria that we will use in selecting our players for the 2021 roster. Be relentless in your preparation and it will show!
